Client success stories: Sally

At her Explore call with Sue, our now client, Sally*, explained how her teenage boys were becoming more independent which was great but now had a different set of needs: mock exam papers to be downloaded, new football boots, next week’s guitar practice, payment to the hairdresser, cinema tickets for the weekend, a tutor for an upcoming maths exam, a meal for friends coming over, a taxi to rugby practice, a push bike repair. And food, a lot of food. Which she was determined would be healthy and free of ultra processed snacks.

Added to which her ex-husband insisted on a detailed list of their shared expenses, her business venture was about to take off, and she had no idea when she would have time to research a family holiday for them, which was coming up soon.

She was exhausted, had very little time to give to her new relationship and with the number of distractions she was dealing with in real-time, wondered how she would ever really focus on taking her new enterprise (their livelihood and future) to the next level.

After her Welcome meeting Sally felt a palpable sense of relief. The CiD team had literally lifted her entire home-life list from her shoulders and explained how they would put an expenses app in place so that all she or her sons had to do was ping the app with receipts to create an expenses report. The team would be on standby anytime they needed a haircut, a last minute taxi, a tutor, or something for school.

Best of all they arranged for a home chef to visit the house once a month to fill the freezer full of their favourite home cooked meals, which now meant there was always something healthy and filling ready for the boys at short notice. The cook even showed them how to heat up the meals for themselves.

Through CiD’s incredible Dining Concierge service, the team arranged some unforgettable dinner dates for Sally and her new partner at restaurants they never thought they’d have the chance to experience.

Sally finally felt she could schedule deep focus time in her calendar to dedicate to developing her business knowing she wouldn’t be distracted. The positive impact this has had for her venture has been phenomenal. CiD is now planning the launch party for her.

Problem: constant distractions from Sally’s big goals, not enough bandwidth and nothing left for herself at the end of the day

Solution: enlisting the CiD team to lift the weight of her mental load, leverage their amazing contacts, and allow Sally more clarity, focus and control.

Outcome: Sally is taking measurable steps forward in persuit of her new venture, feels she is meeting the needs of her boys as well as finding time to be present for them, and her new partner.
